The awards committee has announced this year’s recipient for the HLWMEF. Congratulations to Marissa McFadden of QECVI. The members of the committee reviewed several deserving applications from all over KFLA high schools and although all were very deserving candidates, Marissa stood out.
The HLWMEF is awarded annually through Youth Diversion to a graduating student who has or is facing adversity in their life such as personal and/or financial challenges and will be continuing with they’re studies in a post-secondary setting.
Marissa has been accepted and will be attending Trent University in the Fall.
From all of us at Youth Diversion, we wish you the best of luck Marissa!
