COVID 19 update

COVID 19 update

To our Children, Youth and Families:

As we settle into our new normal and take stock in the events that are currently impacting our lives.  We at Youth Diversion wanted to take a moment of your time to inform you about how Youth Diversion will continue to support you and your loved ones.

As primarily an outreach service, we will continue to support you through different platforms of social media such as texting, Facebook, Skype/Zoom, email and phone.  We are also able to offer face to face contact in cases of crisis/emergency. Face to face contact requires our team to practice social distancing, so we will not be able to drive you. Additionally, there is a limited selection of places to meet outside in the community.  We will do our best to keep in contact with you on a regular basis, address your needs as well as we can under these very difficult circumstances.  Please connect with us should you want to speak with us or need services using the social media platforms stated above.

The following is a list of services unavailable due to COVID-19:

  • The SNAP classroom will be closed to students until further notice.  We encourage you to connect with the classroom staff for updates and additional support.
  • All in school Rebound Programs are cancelled until further notice.  If you were enrolled in Rebound you can connect with them, if you have any questions.
  • All activities with Volunteers have been cancelled until further notice. The Mentoring Program will continue to run but, Mentoring Volunteers will practice the same social distancing methods and primarily use social media platforms for contact.
  • The Robert Meek Youth Center is currently closed. No meetings can be scheduled in office until further notice.

We will continue to accept new referrals for all programs and services.  Referral forms can be accessed on our website at  All staff have been asked to work remotely at home, however our main phone and staff extensions will be answered.

Thank you for doing your part to ensure we all remain healthy. We look forward to getting back to normal very soon.

Take care of yourselves,

All Youth Diversion Staff and Volunteers.
