COVID 19 Second Wave Update
Happy New year All!
During this current lockdown, Youth Diversion will be following the lead of both school boards with our offices being closed until January 11 and staff working remotely. All Volunteer activities have been put on hold until January 11. We are still accepting referrals and answering inquiries from community partners and families. Staff still have the option to meet with clients face to face in addition to virtual meetings and social media connections.
Program updates:
Kairos – information phone line is active and we encourage youth to call this number if they need substance use and addiction supports 613-305-1379.
Rebound – program suspended until the lockdown is over
SNAP classroom – all students are working remotely until January 11. Elementary students will be welcomed back to SNAP on January 11 with high school students coming back on the 25th of January.
MEND – working remotely and available for consultation for both school admin and students
Volunteers – all in person volunteer activities have been suspended until January 11. We will reassess at this time to determine if it is safe to resume in person volunteer activities.
Justice Programs – staff will be working remotely and supporting clients virtually and/or face to face (if necessary)
Outreach – staff will be working remotely and supporting clients virtually and/or face to face (if necessary)
Intersections – staff will be working remotely and supporting clients virtually and/or face to face (if necessary)
