A huge shout out to Chloe Youmans from L&A Mutual Insurance Co. who chose Youth Diversion to share her $2000 donation in celebration of L&A Mutual Insurance Co. 150 anniversary. On August 8th, 1876, an organization meeting was held at Newburgh, at which five directors were chosen to act until an annual meeting was held to elect directors as required by the Insurance Act. Acting Directors were: John Percy, Henry Huffman, James Daly, N.A. Caton, and Marshall Huffman. On August 17th, 1876, the first policy was issued to Peter Miller, of Ernestown. These funds will support our Kids Can't Wait Prevention Fund ensuring we can continue to support prevention services in KFLA. #locallove #YGK #150years #Prevention

HUGE thank you to Hannah @simplestudioceramics and @kingstonpotteryguild for giving our clients the chance to make their own pottery!!
Hannah volunteered her time and skills, and the Kingston Pottery Guild lent us the space to make it happen 😄 We had tons of fun and may even have some future potters in our midst. #EmpoweringYoungMinds

A huge thank you to @cookekingston Real Estate Group for coming out and sponsoring our biggest Empowering Young Minds outing yet! Because of your support, 24 youth got to go to Extreme Trampoline Park and have a blast together today. It was the perfect way to kick off our summer activities, and we can’t wait for everything else we have planned!

I can't thank these "Forgotten First Responders" enough for all that they do for children, youth and families. They are truly exceptional human beings who bring compassion, dedication, and a genuine belief in the potential of every young person they support. Their ability to create a safe, and encouraging environment makes a lasting difference in the lives of youth and their families. With patience and professionalism, they meet challenges with understanding and turn them into opportunities for growth, and positive change. A huge shout out to @woodenheads and Jimmy for making this day even more special with donated personal pizzas...this really made our day.

A huge shout out to the Queens Medical Varity Night for their recent donation of $5000 that was raised during their Variety Night back in April. These funds are supporting our Mentoring Program helping us ensure we connect children and youth to SNAP adults (Safe, Nurturing, Available, and Protective). I had the pleasure of being in the audience and it was indeed a fantastic show.

The pantry grew a bit more yesterday thanks to a wonderful donation of several boxes of pasta thanks to @michaeljudd4u
This pasta is part of the tens of thousands of pounds of pasta that arrived in Kingston this week in what local officials described as one of the largest single food donations the city has ever received (as reported by the @whigstandard ). What you don't see on the shelves is the pasta sauce. Let's see if we can partner each box of pasta with a friendly jar/can of pasta sauce.
