Because of your support, 24 youth got to go to Extreme Trampoline Park and have a blast together today. It was the perfect way to kick off our summer activities, and we can’t wait for everything else we have planned!

I can't thank these "Forgotten First Responders" enough for all that they do for children, youth and families. They are truly exceptional human beings who bring compassion, dedication, and a genuine belief in the potential of every young person they support. Their ability to create a safe, and encouraging environment makes a lasting difference in the lives of youth and their families. With patience and professionalism, they meet challenges with understanding and turn them into opportunities for growth, and positive change. A huge shout out to @woodenheads and Jimmy for making this day even more special with donated personal pizzas...this really made our day. A huge shout out to the Queens Medical Varity Night for their recent donation of $5000 that was raised during their Variety Night back in April. These funds are supporting our Mentoring Program helping us ensure we connect children and youth to SNAP adults (Safe, Nurturing, Available, and Protective). The pantry grew a bit more yesterday thanks to a wonderful donation of several boxes of pasta thanks to @michaeljudd4u This pasta is part of the tens of thousands of pounds of pasta that arrived in Kingston this week in what local officials described as one of the largest single food donations the city has ever received (as reported by the @whigstandard ). What you don't see on the shelves is the pasta sauce. Let's see if we can partner each box of pasta with a friendly jar/can of pasta sauce. #foodinsecurity#FeedYoungMinds#YGK#locallove#foodpantry

Youth Diversion was one of only 4 Canadian Charities to receive an AE Foundation Grant. Funds from the AE Foundation will go towards supporting our Elementary Substance Use and Addiction Service. Yes, in our community, we have children as young as 8 years old struggling with a substance use concern. Last year alone, the Kairos Elementary Substance Use and Addiction Services supported close to 100 children in need of this support. Thank you so much AE Foundation for helping young people overcome challenges #kidscantwait #Prevention #ygk #aefoundation
