The majority of referrals will be made after the commencement of proceedings. Youth could be referred through an extrajudicial sanction program or as a component of the sentencing process. Volunteering with JUMPVolunteers act as mentors to the youth. They are required to dedicate a minimum of 4 to 6 hours per week.
