REBOUND is operated by the Youth Diversion Program, a charitable organization (10822 8172 RP0001) in operation in the Kingston area since 1974. REBOUND was developed in Sarnia in 1984 and is a very successful community supported (no government funding) program. In 1996, the Youth Diversion Program brought REBOUND to Kingston.

  • REBOUND is a ten week program where youth learn important life skills.
  • REBOUND reduces the likelihood that a youth will break the law.
  • A reduction in crime means a reduction in the number of victims in our community.
  • Adolescents learn how to communicate better, make appropriate decisions, and get along better with others.
  • Parents see improvements in their children's self control and communication skills.
  • REBOUND is volunteer intensive. Over 75 local people have volunteered for REBOUND since 1996.
  • REBOUND volunteers are screened, well trained, and provided with many opportunities for development.
  • Community members from all walks of life can be REBOUND volunteers.
  • REBOUND is a fun learning experience for youth and volunteers.
  • Every youth between the ages of 12 and 17 can participate.
  • REBOUND is supported through the community.
